Dahamata Seidu managed to leave the camp after three years. One of her daughters built her a room in her father's place when the Gambarana accepted Dahamata to go back home in Gbintri. It happens for some women to get the chance to go back home. The family has to come and ask the permission to the chief of the camp. It is generaly possible once the person who accused a woman of witchcraft has passed away. Three years later, one of her brothers returned to live in their village and objected to her presence. Some children started to throw stones at her, so one of her grandchildren took her back to Gambaga. Even though she would prefer to go home, she knows that she is safer in the camp.
